With Valentine’s Day gaining more acceptance in the Indian society, it is necessary to address the impact the occasion has on teenagers. The concept of roses, teddy bears, and chocolates is innocently cute, but the day also presents a great opportunity for us to address some key aspects to the celebration of Valentine’s by teenagers. The end result has been a disastrous situation with skewed birth ratios and ageing populations, creating a need for reformatory incentives so as to once again raise a younger population. In this article we answer why the one-child policy failed in China? Is the two-child policy effective in controlling the population growth without serious drawbacks?
